Pediatrics

The Pediatric Program at Siskin Hospital addresses and improves the communication, cognition, and mobility of children above 12 months old with acquired or congenital brain injury or other physical disabilities.
Speech-language pathologists, physical and occupational therapists, specially trained to work with pediatric patients, develop an individualized treatment plan based the child’s deficits and goals. Therapy takes place in a colorful and private pediatric gym.
Parental involvement and education is integral, with parents taking an active role in setting goals and participating in therapy as a member of the child’s treatment team.
