Urodynamics

The Siskin Hospital Urodynamics Clinic identifies the cause of bladder problems, including difficulty urinating, pain, incontinence, bedwetting, and frequency or urgency issues.
A urodynamics study is conducted by specialized staff in a private, dedicated area of the hospital. It evaluates the function of the lower urinary tract, bladder, and sphincters and monitors bladder pressure, urine flow, and muscle activity to study how the body stores and releases urine.
Test results are interpreted by a urologist and sent to the patient’s referring physician. The results establish or confirm symptoms and clinical diagnosis, determine the severity of the problem, and help the physician establish treatment.
