Incontinence is not a normal part of aging and many types of incontinence can be helped without medication or invasive intervention. A program of muscle contraction exercises, behavioral strategies and biofeedback are offered to enhance muscle control and reverse inefficient pelvic floor musculature.
Pain disorders can result from dysfunction of the reproductive, urinary, gastrointestinal, neurological, psychological and musculoskeletal systems. A treatment program is designed to restore the movement and function of the pelvis and related structures. Techniques for joint and soft tissue dysfunction include exercise, manual therapy, biofeedback, modalities and education to address muscle weakness and tightness.
