Mission Statement: This group exists to provide fellowship, information, and support to those individuals who have recently or long ago been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Friends and family members are encouraged to attend as well. Through once a month meetings, friendships are formed in which true support for one another actually takes place. Additionally, the format of the meeting seeks to be centered around a presentation made by a healthcare professional or an individual with Parkinson’s Disease familiar with what you are or will soon be experiencing. Plenty of time is provided for asking questions and seeking new insight at each month’s meeting as well. If you are seeking a chance to learn from others while experiencing support and fellowship on your journey with Parkinson’s Disease, please visit this group. It is vitally important to know you are not the only one experiencing the challenges that Parkinson’s Disease presents on a daily basis. Please contact me if I can be of any help in any way!
