Siskin Hospital welcomes new neuropsychologist

Siskin Hospital has welcomed Dr. Laurel Everett, Psy.D., clinical neuropsychologist, to its Behavioral Medicine and Rehabilitation Psychology program.

Everett received her doctorate in psychology from Spalding University School of Professional Psychology in Louisville, Kentucky, and recently completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Lt. Col. Luke J. Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

“My fellow clinicians and Siskin Hospital associates have been extremely welcoming. I look forward to diving in to further improve our patients’ quality of life,” said Everett.

Everett will support Siskin Hospital’s inpatient and outpatient therapy programs by conducting neuropsychological and psychological evaluations and providing cognitive rehabilitation therapy.

“Dr. Everett’s specialized training in brain injuries, strokes and dementia perfectly aligns with the needs of our patients and will expand the accessibility of neuropsychological services,” said Dr. J. Christopher Young, Ph.D. ABPP, Clinical Neuropsychologist.

Siskin Hospital holds the largest team of clinical neuropsychologists in the region.
