Siskin Hospital receives $3.7 million grant from Tennessee Department of Health
Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation has received a $3.7 million grant from the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) as part of the Tennessee Healthcare Resiliency Program. The funds will support Siskin Hospital’s Electronic Medical Records Transformation Project and aid in providing better patient health outcomes.
“We strive every day to create a healing environment, driven to return our patients to their healthiest, most productive lives possible. The impact these funds will make will be felt in every area of our hospital and will continue to do so for years to come,” said Matt Gibson, Ph.D, FACHE, president and CEO of Siskin Hospital.
Tennessee Health Commissioner Ralph Alvarado, MD, FACP, praised Siskin Hospital and the work they do for the greater Chattanooga region.
“Siskin Hospital is dedicated to transforming healthcare in pursuit of achieving quality outcomes for its clients and patients,” Dr. Alvarado said. “We recognize and support the important work of Siskin Hospital to bring healing to those in its care.”
The HRP Practice Transformation Grant Program is designated for healthcare organizations and practices striving to improve and upgrade technology systems and delivery of medical services. Siskin Hospital’s allocated funds were part of the second and final round of awards for this program.
“We are extremely grateful for the support from Commissioner Alvarado and his team,” said Gibson.
