Inpatient Occupational Therapist - PRN

The team at Siskin Hospital is looking for an Inpatient Occupational Therapist - PRN. At Siskin hospital you will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans for your patients. Our OT's are responsible for effective communication with other staff, physicians, patients, and their families. As an OT here at Siskin Hospital, you will provide student supervision and clinical guidance to COTA's, and serve as a resource for rehab technicians, aides, volunteers, visitors and other staff relative to patient care and the field of occupational therapy. Come join the Siskin family and Make A Difference in the lives of our patients!

This position reports to the Inpatient Occupational Therapy Coordinator at the Main Campus, or under the direction of the West Therapy Program Coordinator when performing patient care at Siskin West.

Minimum qualifications or equivalents -

Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program including successful completion of clinical fieldwork requirements.

Experience: None required.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee.

  • Maintains ongoing CPR certification.

  • Passes annual UDS PI credentialing exam (IRF).

  • Obtains thermal and electrical modalities certifications for Tennessee prior to performing modalities.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Willingness to continue education and professional training.

  • Ability to work effectively with others.

  • Ability to complete tasks in individual and team capacity.

  • Willingness to accept and give constructive criticism.

  • Computer skills preferred.
