Registered Nurse - All Shifts

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direction and supervision of nursing personnel, demonstrating professional judgment and using problem solving techniques. The Registered Nurse coordinates educational activities and utilizes appropriate resources to develop and implement the discharge plan with patients and their families. The Registered Nurse provides hands-on care and restoration of maximal physical, psychosocial and spiritual health. This care is individualized and appropriate for the age of the patient served, including adolescent, adult and/or geriatric.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

  • Current Tennessee State Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure OR

  • Recent or Anticipated Graduate

  • Current CPR certification

Skills/Competencies

Working Knowledge of:

  • Patient assessment skills

  • Frequently used patient care and safety equipment use

  • Medication administration

  • Frequently performed patient treatments

  • Emergency Procedures

Required education

  • Associate
