Inpatient OT Tech (PRN)

What We’re Looking For:
Education: High school diploma or GED. College coursework in a related field is preferred.
Certifications: CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Experience: No experience necessary – we’re excited to provide on-the-job training!
Skills/Competencies:
Strong teamwork abilities and a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and grow through feedback and professional development.
Basic computer skills are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in providing patient care and support during therapy sessions.
Utilize medical terminology and ICD coding to document patient information accurately.
Ensure a clean and organized environment for therapy activities.
Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient needs and concerns.
Maintain computer records and assist in scheduling appointments as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
Physical & Mental Demands:
This role involves physical tasks such as assisting with patient transfers and supporting therapists during treatments. You’ll need to:
Help maneuver patients of various sizes and functional abilities.
Observe patient conditions and provide appropriate support.
Communicate effectively with a variety of patients, families, and team members.
Maintain focus and attention to detail even with frequent interruptions.
Be comfortable standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods and assist with physical tasks in various settings.
