We’re looking for a Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist (specializing in Orthopedic patients) at our Main Campus. What You'll Do:

  • Administer and direct Physical Therapy evaluations and treatments as prescribed by a qualified physician, ensuring the best care possible for your patients.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

  • Lead by example, demonstrating professional behavior aligned with the APTA Code of Ethics and our commitment to high-quality care.

  • Supervise and mentor PT and PTA students, as well as provide clinical oversight to PTA’s and Technicians, fostering a learning environment that encourages growth.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor or Master of Science in Physical Therapy, or graduation from an approved certificate program before mandatory licensing.

  • Experience: Orthopedic experience is preferred, but we’re open to your passion and skills!

  • Licensure/Certification: Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee, and maintain ongoing CPR certification.

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maneuver patients of varying weights, sizes, and functional abilities, assisting with transfers and mobility activities.

  • Physical ability to perform moderately difficult manipulative skills, such as setting up treatment equipment and assisting patients with positioning.

  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods, while maintaining optimal body mechanics, and providing a safe and supportive environment.

Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation is dedicated exclusively to physical rehabilitation and offers specialized treatment programs in brain injury, amputation, stroke, spinal cord injury, orthopedics, and major multiple trauma, as well as treatment for neurological disorders and loss of muscle strength and control following illness or surgery. Siskin Hospital is the only freestanding, not-for-profit rehabilitation hospital in Tennessee.
