The Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation is seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time Pharmacists to join our dynamic, patient-centered team. As a Pharmacist at Siskin, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care and services to our patients, physicians, nurses, and ancillary departments. You’ll play an integral role in supporting the hospital’s goals while ensuring that state and federal regulations are followed. In addition to providing expert guidance on medication therapy, you’ll have the opportunity to lead departmental support personnel in the absence of the Pharmacy Director, fostering a supportive and cohesive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pharmaceutical care and services to patients, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and ancillary departments.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, upholding the highest standards of pharmacy ethics.
Support hospital and departmental goals, actively contributing to continuous improvement in patient care and hospital services.
Supervise departmental support staff in the absence of the Pharmacy Director, fostering a collaborative team dynamic.
Assist with purchasing, dispensing, and performance improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. One-year internship in hospital pharmacy.
Experience: At least 6 months of hospital pharmacy experience (PGYI Residency in a hospital setting preferred).
Licensure/Certification: Doctor of Pharmacy licensure by the State of Tennessee.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to work as part of a team. Proficiency in pharmaceutical care delivery, purchasing, dispensing, and performance improvement. Typing/data entry proficiency.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Ability to process and apply detailed/technical information effectively.
Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with staff, patients, and visitors.
Ability to move around the hospital environment to provide patient care.
